Carole Delamour holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the Université Paris VIII St-Denis and a master’s in eco-anthropology from the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle de Paris, which she completed under the supervision of Marie Roué. Her master’s degree practicum was conducted as part of the Tshiue-natuapahtetau–Kigibiwewidon project under the supervision of Élise Dubuc. This work consisted of analysing the processes of reassertion and reappropriation of cultural heritage by members of the community at Mashteuiatsh. From November 2012 to March 2013, she continued this work at the Musée amériendien de Mashteuiatsh. In September 2013, she began a doctoral programme at the Université de Montréal, studying the contribution of new alternatives to restitution of objects for native communities and museums.
