Hélène Cadieux

Hélène_CadieuxHélène Cadieux holds a master’s degree in history from the Université de Sherbrooke. She has worked at Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) since 1989. She was responsible for the regional archives centre in the Outaouais until 2006 and is now the director of user and partner services in the Archives Division. In this capacity, she is responsible for relations with private agencies who have archives and for applying the law on archives to the municipal as well as the health and education sectors. She also represents BAnQ when working with partners in the archival heritage sector.
Within the framework of the CURA research project Tshiue-natuapahtetau / Kigibiwewidon, she represents BAnQ and contributes to the work of its documentation committee.
